Mill of Barns Joinery Project was an extension completed in 2018. This stone cottage had no insulation or double glazing, so we installed Rationel Alu-Clad windows and doors throughout both the extension and existing cottage.  JHJ added a upstairs gallery/music room, utility and downstairs shower room, with a glazed porch to the front of the property.  Icynene spray foam insulation was used to insulate the existing house and the extension. JHJ also installed a new drainage and soakaway. The extension was clad in Scotlarch with a mix of slate and corrugated sheeting on the roof.
